'Battlefield 4' is rumored to be coming to the PS4 along with other systems. The next 'Call of Duty' title, which is believed to be 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4,' is slated to come out in North America during late 2013, which is the same time frame as the launch of the PS4.
Electronic Arts, the company responsible for publishing the upcoming PS4 and Xbox 720 video game, 'Battlefield 4 beta,' has provided some comments in regards to its pre-order sales. According to a prepared statement from their earnings call on May 7, the publisher disclosed that 'Battlefield' fans have demonstrated their support for the sequel. As a result, the pre-order sales for the fourth numbered entry in the series is said to be 'going extremely well.' Michael Pachter may have provided a possible explanation as to why 'Battlefield 4' and 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4' were not shown during the unveiling of the PS4. According to the Pach-Attack episode from Game Trailers that was posted on Feb. 23, the analyst believed that Activision and Electronic Arts didn't want to risk the sales of their annual franchises. This is because players might not be able to afford the next-generation system at launch and might skip Battlefield 4' and 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4' for newer editions as a result. Gamers will be granted access into the upcoming 'Battlefield 4' beta test by either pre-ordering the game or having a premium account currently on 'Battlefield 3.' The official 'Battlefield' Twitter account clarified on May 22 that the only way to participate in the beta for next-generation consoles will be to pre-order the game as existing premium accounts won't transfer to the Playstation 4 or Xbox One.
While this news is a bit disappointing to some gamers, others are pleased with the increase. Most games only allow eight to 12 players per game, so a bump to 24 will make a huge impact.
Like many upcoming titles being published by Electronic Arts, 'Battlefield 4' is being developed using the Frostbite 3 development engine. The same engine will be used to create DICE's upcoming new 'Star Wars: Battlefront' game.
Lastly, remember that it's your personality that matters the most, so there is absolutely no reason to put all hopes on glamorous clothes or fancy cars if the personality is lacking. Do not think that wearing designer clothes will change who you are. That's not the right mindset at all. Just be yourself and try your best. Good luck!
"Like movies, our goal is to create believable places and characters," executive producer Patrick Bach said after showing a long trailer for the new game.
